What is Web designing?

It is the process of creating a website focusing the display of a particular web page in the light of a specific design unleashing the creative bend of a web designer. It pertains to various aspects including the webpage layout, content production, and graphic design.

Purpose

Web design is majorly focused on designing websites for desktop browsers; however, design for mobile and tablet browsers has become increasingly important.
It is mainly used for Search Engine Optimization, Google Analytics, Branding, etc. Web Design refers to both the aesthetic portion of the website and its usability.
Web developers use HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and other programming languages to bring to life the design files.

Is web design in demand?

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, “employment of web developers is projected to grow 13 percent from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations,” adding that their demand “will be driven by the growing popularity of mobile devices and e-commerce.”
